Do You Know Your Facial Hair?

Trey has been growing a beard for the past few days but this morning he stepped out of the bathroom and I couldn't help but laugh. He had shaved part of the beard into what we both thought was called Handlebars. However, after doing some research I discovered that he had shaved "Friendly Mutton Chops." Not as tough sounding, but definitely tougher looking. He's got to look tough if he's going to become a cage fighter when we get back to Utah. Look out Chuck Liddell.

For your information only...

Site Seeing In The Dirty D

When you live in a place as beautiful as I do you really need to take advantage of every opportunity to see the sites. That's what we decided to do last week while we waited to pick up some of the guys. I thought, Let's try to capture how clean and well landscaped this place is. So Trey helped me out by striking a pose in nature...

Just around the corner we found a lovely neighborhood that really helped to capture the beautiful architecture you will find here.

And across the street from this burnt down beauty was this...

I guess instead of putting a sign and balloons in the yard to announce a party it's easier just to spray paint "Party" on the boarded up windows. Very efficient. And last, but not least, my favorite sign of the summer...

Nothing like some inspiring words from the local church.

Night at the Rock Show

Last night we went and saw a friend's band...Scary Kids Scaring Kids...and another one called Finch. Some people would call it loud noise, but I for one enjoyed it. Made me miss going to Trey's shows.

I think the boys would've liked the show more if they weren't all wishing it was them up on the stage. Soon enough love!

UPCOMING VACATION...ALL FRIENDS INVITED

I'm forcing Trey to take a vacation in the fall (October or November) and I'm going to plan a cruise to the Caribbean for us to go on. We want all of our friends and family to join us so if you're reading this you are probably invited, but you need to let me know if you're interested so we can start planning. If you think the picture below looks like fun you can come. If not, you're lame.

Stick a Fork In Me

I'm done. After 4 months of waking up at 9am, putting on the same blue polo and cargo shorts, meeting at 11am, lunch with the boys, then knocking til 9pm I've finally decided to throw in the towel. We are going to be out here in Detroit for 34 more days but I don't want to knock another door. And since my husband is the boss, I can do whatever I want. I might spend the time remembering what it feels like to be a girl and maybe even relearning to dress like one.

Detroit...The Land Where Dreams Come True

Last Friday we made the big move from Chicago to Detroit. This is the final city in our tour of summer selling. For those of who you have never been to Detroit, this is what they want you to think it looks like...
But this is the reality...
Big stars like Eminem and Kid Rock have come out of Detroit, making us all believe that's the caliber of people you will find there.
But this is the reality...
Let me know if anyone wants to come visit me.
